Got in the car today to an update having occured overnight. It's the first update I've experienced since I got my ST in the fall. Are the details typically this sparse?

The details on the screen in the car matched the details in the Ford app.

Wow. I wonder what other modules can do OTA updates on 2025+. I think 2020-2024's could only do Sync and map updates.

Probably just tiny little updates that aren't noticeable in everyday interactions.

Always wondered about that also. I have never had a smooth experience updating the Sync3 so wonder if the Google-based system is better.

Well mine got stuck doing an update, well at least I suspect that it did and I had to take it to the dealer to do like 4 or 5 different updates to different modules. One of the updates was this TCU update however on the paperwork they like to be as vague as possible so it just says Preformed updates and reran checks and no codes show so I have no clue what version of it I have. Then they test drove it and said everything was working as normal or something. Drove it yesterday to get dinner and all seemed fine, but will be using Blue Cruise today on a longer drive so we will see. So I guess its hit or miss if it messes something up.

Yeah, mine happened on Monday, but didn’t get the notification when starting it up in the garage. Showed up when I started it up after running an errand. Curious if it did the update in the parking lot at the store or in the garage overnight?

I have one of the first 2025s down the line, a May16 2024 build that was shipped from the plant in August 2025 three months later. I have not had one OTA yet. The only gremlin I've experienced is when clicking OK as soon as turning off ASS, I get a quick red pop up about the charging system. It happens every time if I don't wait a few seconds to push OK. I was tempted to get FDRS to push module updates, but everything else seems to be working as it should.

Mine did that too and then last week I lost the connectivity, but I don't know if it was related but after the dealer did a bunch of other updates I have not seen it as of yet. So ya might want to take it to the dealer and show them and ask if they can check to see if you have all the latest updates, not sure if they will charge you or not. Mine was under warranty but it had a bigger problem so I didn't have to pay anything. My car was built in August of 2024 and I got it on September 30th. ( mine would flash that red box behind the "ok" box for like a millisecond.) P.s. After getting those updates car is working again and driving fine!
