I have no experience with the current model, but the 2018 used 2 sided tape and had a clip both at the top and bottom used for alignment. Nothing special required, though a set of plastic trim tools might be helpful and a little Goo Gone or other solvent might help take the residue off of the door. I'd wait until your new piece shows up and take a look at what it comes with. I'm thinking they might be the same.

Thanks for all the directions
I got the dealer tech to give me guidance
No double side tape
2 plastic clips, one screw and be mindfull of the weather striping and window track.
It's easy to dislodge the connection down inside door
But afyer careful and slow manipulation of weather strip and rubber.
The part is in

There you go. I could only find a video on the F150 and thought it had to be similar. Glad you figured it out. Surprised you didn't document it all.

I was , but. It's humid and hot
The aft door weather strip has to be easy and gently pulled off up to the top of door. Then stop as not to damage the striping piece .
Carefully ease back weather strip next to glass
But do not pull it up more than 1/2 inch.
Then use plastic trim tools to wiggle clips loose, and remove screw under top corner trim and gently slide panel outward at top and up and out.
Slow is your friend
