Performance Tuning

Hi All,
I was interested in the Ford performance tuning. I was directed to the performance tool M-9603-EX30. I called the Ford Performance Team and as far as the warranty is concerned, Ford Performance says it would take a new ST warranty down to 3/36,000. That would be a moot point for me because I have only 4K miles left on this 2020. However, I bought a 4/ 4,000 extended warranty through another company. Is anyone familiar with how that would affect this warranty? It appears there would be a few hoops to jump through to accomplish this tune, including having a Ford dealership install the tune even though simple instructions are included. Ford Performance sounded a little hesitant on information. They didn't give me much to go on as to whether or not a cold air intake and intercooler would supplement this tuning or not.
I just want to make sure it's all worth the expense of $2800 and just showing a 30hp gain on 93. Thanks for your thoughts!

Bottom line…at this point any tune will effect your aftermarket warranty and you basically have no factory warranty left to worry about…so there’s no reason at all to use the expensive, anemic FP tune.

I paid Lethal Performance around $700 US to purchase the tuner and tune and my local ASE certified mechanic $55 CDN to install it. About $1000 CDN total.

Def a few cheaper than what I mentioned I would've paid for the tune. The cold air intake w/hard pipes and intercooler adds another $2000.
