So I was taking a nap. Or Nyquil put me to sleep anyway. I woke up, and my VPN is off. (Possible hacker turned it off) i live in a 21 building apartment complex. And my ford pass app is sending me alerts for remote access requests. I didn't even have my Ford pass open. So how is im sending request invitations out. So immediately, I denied access, of course. And thinking where this remote request could come from. Has anybody had this happen before?

I'm thinking hackers probably gain access to the Ford Pass Database or server and are sending out requests to Ford pass owners. I don't know I've never seen this before.

I already done reached out to Ford motor customer service via X( twitter). Waiting on their response.

Security from my end. I run VPN on all my devices when I'm at home. due to the traffic of living in a populated area. Also, i set my router to not allow any new device on my wifi. And my VPN settings are set to Strict when on when not using. So there's none to little network traffic.

I looked at it as a possible hacker. Walked up to my vechile. Trying to gain access to it. by inputting the VIN off the vechile front windshield. I didn't won't to rule anything out.

Buty yea I see what you talking about. I get VIN mixed up. When inputting them in Carfox

I live in the Suburbs, and I once had someone attempt to gain access to my ford Pass as well, I immediately denied the access and changed passwords just incase. I have not had any known attempts to gain access to my vehicle. Not sure why it happened or whom was attempting to get my vehicle access. But I enhanced my security Cameras that watch my vehicles.
