My 20" wheel and tire weighed 70.8 pounds. Don't have 21" to compare to though. The 18" weighed 59.6 pounds. Cheers.
I wasn't sure if I missed it did anyone have the opportunity to weigh a set of 21" wheels and tires?

Pretty sure when I weighed mine they were just over 72lbs

Awesome thanks I was just wondering I did a comparison when I swapped out my factory 19-in wheels on my Malibu as well saved 11lbs per wheel/tire going to 18".

We need to do a "Bone Stock 20 inch vs. 21 inch Dragy" thread to see how much quicker the ST is with the smaller wheels/tires combo.

Unfortunately, every published road test is with the 21's.

I was wrong, found the actual pic. The 21’s are heavy for sure. 74.8lbs

So there we go, the difference between a set of OEM 20's vs 21's (wheels and tires) is 16 lbs. Actually, not that great.

But there's still the benefit of less unsprung rotational mass rotational to consider too.

But if you went from 21s to 18s, you would save 60.8 pounds.

Absolutely. I was just saying the diff between the 20's and 21's because I plan on keeping my OEM 20's.

15lbs a corner is a massive savings and would probably net .2 or .3 better in the quarter mile.

Yup, I would run my winters for a run for fun, but the car just spins them, lol. Even as 24psi.

Put some soft compound tires on those 18's and make a lap down the quarter. haha

Anyone know difference in 0-60 between 87oct n 93oct bone stock? Best I could pull off on 87oct is 5.47. Does that seem reasonable? Kept running mostly 5.7's n a few 5.6's. After my runs I filled up from half tank with 93. Once I go through a couple tanks I'll see what it can do on 93 n then upload my GearHead AO tune and see the difference.

I never tried with 87, but I think my best completely stock with 93 was 5.2 and best with gearhead AO tune everything else stock was 4.28 (in -1455 da).

When I first got it I only ran 93 n then gas skyrocketed n I was like **** it's getting extremely expensive to fill this thing n since I hadn't tuned it like I'd done so quickly with my Explorer Sports I said 87 it is till I'm ready to tune or prices drop enough.

Did you splash any E85 in when you ran low 4's with the GearHead AO?

No it was just 93, but the 93 here has 10% ethanol. Might have been capable of more, I only did about 2 runs on the ao tune since it was winter. Once spring hit I added intercooler intake and switched to e30, then e50 in summer.
