ProCal Tool Just for Monitoring

Has anyone purchased the ProCal 4 tool from Ford Performance without the tune just for monitoring? Going to go with a ZFG tune but like the idea of having the ProCal with the screen to monitor air/fuel, throttle and specs on the screen in real-time. Thoughts? Is anyone currently doing this?

Can you just buy an used SCT tuner for monitoring.

I have one from my old Ford Flex that I keep in the car for check engine light.

Not sure what data you are looking for but OBDLinkMX+ bluetooth dongle which you may already have for Forscan has an app that you can select some PIDS to display on your phone.
