And definitely off topic...I was a prime defense contractor for the department of defense. I had written the manuals for USCG with regard to unmanned engine room on Ocean going vessels. I worked closely with the coast guard for nearly 15 years in Guam, Subic Bay, PI, Dubai, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Spain, Diego Garcia, pretty much every continent in the world except Antarctica. I was responsible for demonstrating my automation systems for Military Sea Lift command to USCG for type approval as well as ABS approval for unmanned engine room.

You’re hanging your hat on one quarter of sales performance? The mustang has been outselling the challenger for years. That’s such a silly stat to use to say that “because the challenger outsold the mustang for one quarter of one year it’s a better car”.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a bit of a Ford fan boy, but I’m also realistic and know how to give credit where credit is due. You’re just being silly though.

The F-150 Shelby Super Snake exists. And it has a warranty. It can't be THAT hard to lift it, put it on 35s, and add some Fox suspension bits. C'mon Ford get with it!

A friend of mine owns that truck and I thought my V10 SRT RAM with the viper motor was a pig on gas. That Super Snake F150 is incredible. Definitely the coolest looking truck on the road but the gas mileage is no bargain at nine miles to the gallon. But boy oh boy is she a looker. $100,000 it should be.

Settle down Junior... I never said the Challenger is a nicer or better car than the Ford Mustang. I actually think the body design is beautiful on the Mustang even though it's a bit cramped inside. I simply directed the op to an article contradicting what he said. Next time put down your iPhone and look at my posts on a computer and you'll see what I wrote instead of what you thought I wrote.. geez you guys are a rough crowd. I may be the new guy in town but I have zero tolerance for attacks and criticisms that are unwarranted.

Very true - how could I forget a truck like that. Either way, a mass produced Raptor (with suspension components) with a heathy bump in power would be extremely appealing.

What are you talking about? The OP posted only once in this thread, which was his initial post, which basically said, "hey look at this, I hope the Raptor gets more power". Your linked article (which you posted in reference to MY post) said Challenger outsells mustang in Q3. That's like bragging you were faster in one lap of a race but still got beat in the entire race.

What does reading on a phone vs a computer have to do with anything? If typed words on a website are more difficult for you to read on a phone vs on a computer, that sounds like a problem for you, not for me.

There were zero attacks or criticism in my post, I was simply pointing out how silly of a stat that was. Unless you feel attacked or critiqued being called silly, in which case I suppose I would have to respond with the obligatory, "your generation is too soft, snowflake". (Which is obviously a joke so don't get worked up, again)

so what I'm hearing is that after a lift kit and 35s I should be in the 5mpg range? Sweet!!!

Ignorance is horrible in your case my friend.. not full of myself. Was explaining to the member who was in the Coast Guard my history as a way of identifying a commonality with him. Nothing more nothing less. I'm 51 and retired that alone is an accomplishment. Maybe your chosen job cannot afford you the benefits of my life but that's okay. We are done here. Nope... Just a hassle going to the gas station twice a week. You can have extreme performance and still have decent range on a tank of gas.
