RCS text messages

Hi I'm using Google messages on my android phone and sync 3 does not notify or display any of my RCS messages. Regular ones work.
Does anyone know of a setting on my phone that might get this to work or will another text app work that also had RCS support?

Search for Android auto in your settings. Find the Android auto settings and under notifications enable show group conversations. That should fix it for you.

Thanks, looks like I already had that setting on. I removed the truck from Android auto and will try repairing.
