Rear Brakes/Rotors

Hi! Has anyone had issues with their rear rotors needing to be machined with less than 12,000 miles? I’ve been saying to the dealer since I purchased the car it had rear break issues and after the 3rd time they said the rotors needed to be machined.. sounds like a defect to me.

Initially it was a knocking noise coming from the rear that they couldn’t duplicate and then the steering wheel started to shake when you pressed on the breaks.

The said it was from the rear.. I honestly don’t know if they know what they’re doing..

That would be weird, but one brake grabbing harder than another causes it no matter front or rear.
You will feel it more in the wheel if its front and more in your seat if its the rear.

Make sure to bed the brakes this tine too.

It’s under warranty still. I just find it strange that they would spin them vs replace because they’re new. This is the first time in 30 years I’ve had to spin rotors this early and I’ve had other high performance cars before
