Hello everyone. I am getting an exhaust put in Friday and I need a rear power source because it has a remote to open and close valves in it. I was going to pop the panel with the rear light and lighter plug and tap into those wires for the power so its all hidden but I cannot tell if that is constant power or it goes on and off with the car. Anyone know? Thanks for any help. appreciate it.

Plug something into it then leave the doors open for 10 minutes…the car will shut down everything that’s not constant power…then check to see if whatever you plugged in has power. Kinda basic…but it works.

Can’t you simply tap into the fuse panel (below and left of the steering wheel) and then route the wire to wherever you need it?

Why would you want to remote the exhaust valves with the car off?

try this change in forscan insert 0 to disable power power point time out

be aware the powerpoint will be powered 24/7 and if items are left plugged in and ON the battery could be depleted
on the common sheet you can also select a period of time it will remain powered
