As someone who does the same for a similar program, just want to say that you and I may have had a previous spat on here, but your ledger is good now. Ur a good dude in my books.
TY..We are cool. I have a tough skin. LOL.
I would give my life for Lexi. She was 19 when I stepped in to help. She just turned 25. She never failed or had a questionable drug test in 5 years. She now mentors others and I could not be more proud of her. I have a hard time passing up Oreo cookies and whole milk. Her demons were unsurmountable to most and at times was horrible to see what drugs and pornography can do to a young beautiful 17 year old girl.. Together we got to the root of the problem and it was something that had to be done. I was there every step of the way with her. Just two years ago, I took her to Mount Everest and we hiked to Base Camp 2 for her 3rd year anniversary. We did the impossible side by side, arm and arm. I was 48 at the time, Lex was 23 and we were the "odd couple" on the mountain for sure. It was the most beautiful, majestic place in the world. Together we made it to 20000 feet after suffering for 14 days with altitude sickness. Looking back, It was easy compared to our previous journey together. We did the impossible twice. Lex tells me "not all super hero's wear capes"... I just look back at her and smile .. She is the super hero. I am just a guy from Staten Island, New York who had knack for Electrical Engineering and chose the right career.
