Had the deal come to my house and install the recall back up cam/harness.

I took it for a quick test drive and when in reverse it says "Reverse brake assist not available"

Am I going to need to take it in or is there something I can reset myself?

Is the reverse brake assist still on in the touchscreen? I turned it off on our ST and I get that message.

It is turned on, took a drive to the store and on the way home it is no longer giving the alert. Must have just needed a drive after the module update?

Were any of the doors opened? That pop up always appears when a door is open even if nothing is wrong with it. Unfortunately, its not a glitch or anything bad, just how Ford's system is.

Must have been. That’s odd.
