Hi all - I did try and search for this, but nothing came up... so either I did something wrong, or nobody has commented. This is my first ST, and having different type of material on the seats has a bit of a bother to me. I am use to leather and not the cloth / suede / other materials that are used. That said, if you all have put some protectant on your seats, can you share what / and experience? I know Scotchguard makes an auto version, but the smell is strong, and this is a brand new 2025 - so guess if I had to balance limited time smell vs kids spilling stuff on the seats...

Thanks in advance for advice...

My 2018 Fusion Sport has thie same material as our ST's. Myself anyway, I've never needed anything other than just plain water on a clean towel or a little all purpose cleaner to clean up anything on my seats - that includes one incident a couple of years ago from a gross, runny, doggie #2 accident in my back seat (she was just picked up from the groomer and was a complete stressed out mess from it). It cleaned up well with all purpose cleaner and water and it did not hold any odor afterwards. I have never needed any kind of spray protection. My seats are in perfect condition with no stains what so ever.
