Hi. I recently purchased a white 2024 Explorer St. I would like to tint the headlights, taillights, brake lights, etc. However, I am leery of losing too much visibility from the lights. What are the best bulb upgrades that would sufficiently mitigate this issue?

There is no way to not mitigate light output and visibility to overcome added tint. I'm not aware of any light upgrade that will make any noticeable difference if you add tint.

The Auxito LED reverse bulbs make a big difference! I have the Lamin-X tint and they are still very bright!

As far as headlights and taillights no way to add anything. Tinting the whole headlights is a bad idea, just tint the parts over the chrome strip and it won’t effect light output at all. Also, most insurance companies could possibly stick a repair on you due to decreased visibility of your rear taillights. You can upgrade the rear reverse lights and turn signals and HSF sells the best kit.

If you use 20% tint, I don't think there are any bulbs you could use that would overcome that hit.

No offense intended here. Trust your instinct, be leery. Anything that detracts from your ability to see down the road isn't a good thing. I get the aesthetics thing, but losing light, any light, just isn't worth it. There are too many other places to spend your money to make appearance improvements.
