So am I wrong thinking I should get a refund on the $700 I paid prior to realizing it warranty work? Thanks to all of you, I told them where to start, but they chose other things until none fixed it.

Well, I certainly would. I've been buying Fords here at my dealer for years, if they want me to buy any more, they'd refund that cash. Lots of dealers in central VA.
