Uhm...or you can buy a $99 OBDII bluetooth module and use forescan to change it, and a lot of other stuff. Or, plug something into the trailer harness. $99 just for that is a little ridiculous.

I don't think there is a Forscan fix for us. $99 is expensive but if it means that much to you, it is worth it. I think though that if anyone is thinking about a tune, it can be turned off that way as well.

I don't have any major upgrades worth a tune, and if I do have warranty work done I don't want them griping about a tune messing things up to void warranty, or detuning to have work done. If necessary, I can just pop this back off before bringing in.

I have a friend who had the Forescan fix done on his ride and it messed up his Autostop batteries and they had to be replaced. Luckily he was able to disable before going in for warranty work and things worked out, but lesson learned at least. :)
