(SOLVED) - 2025 Ford ST-Line "thingy" on steering wheel column?

Anyone tell me what this "thingy" (see picture) on steering wheel column is called? When I take a picture of it - you can see to sensers pop'n up (not visible to the naked eye) so I figure it is checking for something.

Part of blue cruise. The computer is infrared scanning your eyeballs to see if your looking forward and not sleeping...in a nut shell
