Driving southbound on 95 today with my father in law, a PODS moving truck came veering from the right lane across three lanes of traffic toward us traveling in the left. I broke hard and pulled into to the shoulder, but this guy must’ve lost full control and just slammed straight into us. We both ended up jumping the concrete barriers and landing about 4 feet down into the construction area where they were prepping to lay new express lanes. The StormTrooper is totaled now, but thankfully we were OK. The guy in the truck wasn’t so lucky - he had to be air lifted to emergency to deal with the pesky rebar lodged straight though his face and neck. Hope the poor dude is gonna be OK

Unbelievably nasty, especially with all the re-bar spears. Glad that you are okay and, by the looks of it, the ST helped to keep you safe. Looks so scary.

Much appreciated, everyone.

Best of luck on that dudes recovery, but I would be suing PODS... just my .02
Not ruling it out. First I gotta deal with getting the police report. They didn’t get that guys statement since he was medevac’d out.

Suing for what? They’re both okay. The other guy isn’t though. Oh wait...you’re an opportunist. Nice.
Glad you guys are okay, Storm Trooper.

Insurance company has the ST now. We’ve gotten used to all the quirks of StormTrooper over the past 3 months, so assuming we find another ST without gremlins, we’ll be back in a new one within a couple weeks. Probably black this time though.

You can get a newer one for cheap now. Good luck on the hunt.

Thanks for sharing. Glad you both walked away. It looks like it could have been a lot worse.

Wow. So glad you're both ok. Hope the other driver is too. Cars can be replaced easy enough.

Just heard back from the insurance company today, they’re definitely totaling it. So only a matter of days until we‘re back in business.

I was expecting the ST's condition to be worse. Glad you and your father-in-law are okay. It's a miracle you're letting us know so quickly.

Glad you're OK! I second the vote for white. Just remember how hard is is to keep the black wheels & rims clean. Clean black looks great, but ...
