Any modified ST owners in San Jose , Gilroy, or Morgan Hill? Seems like no one modding in my area.
I really cant trust these exhaust videos. Ive had Classic Hot Rods all my life and want to know what these exhaust sound like in person. Seems to me they would be quieter in person.
Lots of haters around here it seems. Such a tricky thing to make the turbo v6 sound anything but a raspy tuner car. 3" Thermal R&D seems
to be the direction im headed. Ive owned big block and small block Chevies which sound amazing at any volume and My f150 with flowmasters are around 87 decibel at idle and my 5.9 diesel ram 2500 was 97-100 ish
at idle and too loud for the neighbors for sure.
Looks like the Thermal R&D 3 inch is barely 90-95 at WOT which doesnt seem all that bad if it is only WOT. I will be plowing thru the neighborhood time to time smashing the pedal but from the videos it seems the 3" is actually less raspy more mellow but at a bit higher volume. I dig it but from how many blocks away are they gonna hear me coming?
black friday sales are going fast! I need to be able to fire her up at 5am and cruise thru the neighborhood without setting off alarms. That being said, where are the south bay ST owners with exhaust?
