I have noticed when I switch to sport mode there is an annoying rattle/grinding sound in or around the trans. Even in park I hear it. Doesn’t happen in any other drive mode. Is this normal? Should I be concerned. No issues with performance or function just sounds terrible. Any input is welcome.

It is normal, it’s the transmission fluid pump increasing the fluid pressure for Sport Mode.

My only rattle seems to be that pesky on again/off again flex-pipe-at-idle-noise that was there from day one.

TBH… it sounds more like a slight grinding noise rather than a rattling when in sport mode… not loud

Did you ever find out if this was anything to worry about? I feel like mine does the same thing
