Holy crap! That front grill would have been perfect on the 2006 Escape, wonder why they didn't do that then? Definitely a solid step backward on the 2022 Explorer.

Yes, sadly there will always be something worse. But, as my Mom used to say when I came home from school with mediocre grades... "don't compare yourself to the worst student in your class, compare yourself to the best". So that said...

100% not as terrible as the spy shots indicated. I actually kind of dig it. Grill should have been black gloss instead of the rough plastic that looks gray, but oh well.


The new textured cloth seat centers though.... those look amazing!

It also has a Torsen-style limited slip differential in the back. It's most likely that this could be swapped into an ST. Unsure whether the axle ratio is the same as the ST or whether the ring and pinion are the same.

that's what im most interested in as well. Having just come from one in my GC Trailhawk and Z71 Raydo, they make a world of difference.
