Figured I would step outside the box. Might be a little much for the explorer but hey..... WTH. Should have it in 6 weeks. Cutting a deal with me since I’m the first inquiry :)

They are gonna do a custom ST logo under the resin and clear. I will tell you a custom steering wheel is an awesome mod imo.

I’m going to dye the stitching on the seats and door panels red as well.

Pretty excited for this mod over anything !

I had a custom flat bottom wheel built for my Ram R/T project several years back covered in perforated leather and real Alcantera....it was cool as hell but far from cheap.

Agreed... this is not cheap and had to get permission from the wifey but it’s one thing you can appreciate staring at it each time you drive. Overboard... maybe.

I did put the word in for a splitter tho.

Nice. What’s the ETA?
I got quoted $175 to wrap my c-pillars...not sure if that’s high or not but it’s the best known shop around Houston so I guess they’ll be worth it.

End of August :( and once I get it back we are gonna match with the best vinyl for the interior.

What shop in Houston? I’m in San Antonio so we need to meet up one day ... I was thinking of taking it to Houston for the wrap but need to see the steering wheel first.

What are you wrapping the c-pillars in?

Pixelwerks in Humble. Very well known shop over here. I’m just gonna do them in gloss black like the other pillars. I saved this pic a while back...I like it...I think. lol 1F708E06-4685-4202-82EE-60A715181402.png

Yeah I think it looks clean and should have been that way from the factory. I used to live in the Woodlands for a bit.

Oh they’re different? Mine is matte black and chrome...anything is better than blue. I’m reading this without my glasses...I tend to miss details.

Does it look like it will fit the stock wheel? I was looking at this exact seller for both steering wheel overlay and grill/tailgate overlays. Would LOVE confirmation of fitment.
