Buick has a new ST. The Envista Sport Touring. It has a little 1.2L turbo making a whopping 137Hp. It is a sharp looking vehicle though and it gets great MPG.

How does the Expedition stealth performance (304a) compare to these vehicles?

My nephew bought one and he loves it. He loved my ST after driving it but the wife wanted something bigger, having driven a Yukon so they got the Expedition. He did the IC first thing and then put on an exhaust. He doesn’t want to tune it because of the warranty. But he thinks it’s fast enough and the wife is happy.

Agreed, love the way the ST looks, it has a mean and aggressive look to it. Wouldn't mind the BMW X5 M Competition though
Yeah ….. out the door (with taxes) over 100k…. GULP

X5MCs are about 70-75K used with low miles. Considering they are lightyears ahead of STs in terms of tech, quality and comfort, they do not run cheap. I am looking at an X3MC which are about 60K used with low miles. Tune/Downpipes, they are running 10s consistently.

I’m sure that is the case, in terms of 10’s, but they outta be running those times stock at that price. My ST was low $30’s with 15k miles, and it will keep pretty good pace with the over 600 Stock hp X5M just adding the tune and bolt ons.

You must have gotten the deal of a lifetime on your ST for that price.

Few differences:

X3M - No third row, but is only a few hundred pounds lighter than an ST. Non-comp version is 70K, not much more than the ST new for new, and runs low 12's, high 11's stock.
X5M - Weighs over 800 pounds more than the ST, the non-comp version is 40K more than the ST, and is a true luxury car with air suspension and other features.

Tune only, both the X3M and X5M make over 600HP.

The M Package versions also run pretty quick and are much more affordable.

I agree, they are quick and have some great luxury features. My next door neighbor has an X5M (white)...its nice and I am sure it screams, but I for some reason the exterior eye test doesn't do it for me. I like the ST lines better... I did a tune, intercooler, cold air intake, and catback exhaust shortly after I bought the ST... all said and done I saw a 120 WHP increase and my gas mileage went up ... go figure.
