Hey
Looking at 3 options for lowering springs:
1. Steeda - smallest amount of drop (about 1.25"), stiffest of 3, good for weight handling/towing
2. Eibach - medium drop (1.3-1.6), softest of 3, keeps somewhat of a rake
3. H&R - lowest drop (1.6-1.75), medium stiffness, best handling, no rake.
Is this correct? I'm leaning towards Eibachs since at times I'll be loading my car with people and ski gear and want a comfy highway ride.
Do Eibachs on STs sag a lot over time, like on mavericks?
Thank you

Handling wise Id say the Eibachs and H&Rs will be the same. The Eibachs will have most drop though, after settling even over H&Rs. I haven’t heard of any problems with the Eibachs sagging on these cars.

Interesting. Now I'm leaning towards H&R. I also read somewhere that Eibachs bottom out on bump stops on STs. How's ride comfort between 2 in your opinion?

Lowest I’ve seen anyone measure Eibachs is 17” from the axle centerline to the fender front and rear…which is the same as my H&R’s.

Eibach instructions are to have the bump stops trimmed. I just forgot, but it hasn’t been an issue.

H&R are the lowest drop I have seen in person.

Great looking ST! Ordering H&Rs now... will try ford's suggestion for rear spring swap, using internal spring compressor. One of my buddies works for ford service department in Florida and he said that rear spring comes out super easy if you use internal spring compressor, there is even a hole at the bottom for the bolt to come through. Will see this weekend. Wish me luck. Lol

I had Steeda, they don't drop much and keep a rake. The Steeda rear springs began to corrode, so they set me new ones. I didn't replace them and went with Eibach. I like the ride quality better. At first I just replaced the rear Steeda springs with Eibach and left the front with Steeda to see how it rode. It was actually very evened out and rode well. Then just did the fronts with the Eibachs I had.

My 2023 ST has a rake with H&R's. My 2020 ST was pretty level with H&R's. Same wheels and tire specs on each. The zero rake kind of bugged me a bit on the 2020 so I guess I put that out in the universe and got new H&R's that were a bit taller in the rear. I think it has settled a bit in the rear since the photo.

Hi.
In my opinion it's the same firmness but different ride. Car is more responsive now to steering input. You can feel the road more but by no means it's harsh. It has a feel of my sons stock audi a4 now.

Hello, Anyone ever use DX? I just ordered a set from lethal, their black friday was really good, i thought. By the specs of all 4 setups it seems DX has the most drop.

A lot of people have done Lethals springs (aka DX). DX had a couple problems with their springs but they seemed to have fixed them. Should be a perfectly good now!

Always been an Eibach fan personally. Just had the Pro-Kit installed over the weekend. Looks much better lowered. IMG_2952.jpeg
