Steelies and Offsets

Hello — I'm new here.

I'm going to have some custom steelies made up, because I'm nostalgic for the look of the JDM tuners in the 2000s. The company I'm looking to use will do a 20 or 22 inch wheel, but will only make a 10 or 11 inch width.

If I use one of these widths instead of 10.5, what offset/backspace should I use? I'm sure I can fit a 305/35 on the 22 either way, but if I went with the 20, which tire size would make the most sense?

10” is stay between +25 and +30.
I won’t recommend an 11” wheel. Front strut clearance is too tight if you keep the wheel flush.
20 or 22 I always say stick to something in the 30.4-30.8” OD range.

10 it is, then. Assuming they can make exactly what I'm after, the goal is the 22x10 with a 70.5 center bore, +25 offset, and crossed fingers that whatever they make will clear the SuperForged brake kit.

Ask them for a dimensional drawing and compare with the same from SuperForged.
If they’re making wheels they should be able to get that for you. A steelie will generally have a very flat center so big brake clearance is questionable. These giant brake kits are more prevalent now due in part to the concave wheel styles that exist now.
You can always consider adjusting your offset more positive and use a bolt on spacer to build in the brake clearance.
