There were a couple threads on this and instead of posting in each I figured I would just create this new one. For months...lit months i've been chasing a rattle/squeak sound up and down. Under the car for the air shield, suspension, foam in corners of sliding glass sunroof, I chased every thread that lead me towards something that could silence this beast.

Then I found a quick note where someone had recommended checking the torx bolts for the stationary glass (inside the channel where the shade and glass slide). All tight, on to the next. Then tried jamming foam and padding into the track, between the glass, etc. No changes, I swear it even got worse. So as a last resort I decided to get a bigger wrench and go after the bolts (torx) again. I wrenched a 1/4 turn on all three on drivers side (seemed to be loudest noise)...and then the music came on as I heard nothing...Success.

Some of you may glance past this post, i'm so glad you haven't had this issue. For even one person that helps them find the peace that I finally do...I pay it forward. I dreaded driving this car having to listen to it squeak and rattle at me for every second of the drive. Music was never loud enough. Heard it in my sleep...no more.
