Swapping 2nd row from captains to bench

Is it possible? And would a third car seat fit in the bench if one was a booster seat?

It's surprising that there is only one other post asking about this. Has anyone had the whole assembly apart to 100% prove it doesn't work?

I'd probably swap my bench for captains if it was possible.

It is possible, as someone has done the reverse (bench to captains chairs).

The driver and passenger side have LATCH, the middle seat can only be installed with a seatbelt.
