I contacted the vehicle technology team yesterday. Was a painful process as I had to convince them that the system auto updates over Wifi. They didn't believe me until I gave them my unit serial number and referenced the page numbers in the manual, lol! Geeze.... In the end, they gave me a case number for this issue and said someone will be in touch today... we'll see...
(Every power on results in a different SiriusXM module subscription status, refresh does nothing. Even when active there is sometimes no audio.)

I went down that road and decided to drop it. Every thing I'm seeing now the fix should be the next SYNC update. Not sure when it will be but the last I heard maybe close to the end of summer.

How were you able to get in touch with them? Do you mind sharing your case number? I ask because I will call and do the same. If enough people get on them, they may fix it...

The xmsirius web site confirms the services are active, the refresh, which has worked for me 3 times (until I shut the car off) is a PITA... The status in the car radio shows not active.

Shouldn't our subscriptions be extended for the time block (2 months now:?) the service was broken...

Finally decided to take the car into Ford to document the issue with travel link. They said they found a problem with the audio control module.
First they have to locate a correct part number for the 2021. Then order, call once part is in to replace.
If Ford just offered a full Sirius subscription for 5 years it seems this would take care of the problem.
Has anyone had this part replaced. We will see if this resolves any of the issues.

With so Many having this issue, if it turns out that they all have faulty audio control modules that's going to come at a big cost for Ford to replace all the defective units. I honestly think it is software related though.

I turned on my Auto Updates about a week ago and was pleased to find it updated and one of the things I now have is the Auto on the Zoom on the Navigation Maps. My wife’s car has had this (2018 model) and I was shocked that the 2020 did not. I too am having the Travel Link problem and I am a photographer and use the radar every day or at least I did before the update. I am finding it works the first trip out of the garage but after that it is dun for the day. I have checked on the ford Sync Site and it says my system is up to date via the VIN.

In this post people are referring to 21020 as a version where do I find that? I don’t see anything like that on the Sync Version Page.
I'm on 21098. Just uploaded it a few days ago.

Yes mine is on Build 21089_PRODUCT Is yours working?
The Travel Link issue has happened since 21020 came out. Word is the next update after 21098 should have the fix. We shall see.

Travel link is working for me and no more Echo on the phone. I haven’t been using it for very long, but promising so far.

This is most likely not a hardware failure. Since you can back down to a build prior to 21020 and everything works perfectly, is pretty clearly a software issue.

Over the past several days with multiple starts and stops my Travel Link is working with Build 21098. Hopefully it will last.

I have a weird one that is making my OCD go nuts.

When I press the Sync button on the steering wheel, the response tone is now just a beep. It used to be a melodic ring.

I have tried several settings, but, can’t seem to get back to the melodic ring?

Mine is nonexistent as well I miss it sometimes. I have tried the trick of Turning up the volume when the tone hits, but that also affects the voice commands. I always use it for the Weather map because it is way faster than the touch screen. If you say, " Weather Map" Boom it is there. Let us know if you figure it out or maybe the next Build will get it closer.

Ok, just updated to Sync v3.4.21098, and did a factory reset.

I still don’t get the melodic ring.

Anyone have any ideas?

Anyone installed build 21194 yet?......available on Cynlabs not Ford Owners yet.

Just wondering if it's the fix for SiriusXM issues

Does Ford publish anywhere what the updates are? I mean when I do them I don’t think I have ever seen any discernible difference?

I installed it from Cyan labs and so far travel link has worked on each drive (been about 8 - 10 key cycles). Maybe this will be the build they will eventually push OTA.

Ford has been doing OTA since 21020. The last map update was OTA also.

Yeah I know, I was just stating that this may eventually be the promised fix that will be pushed out. It appears version 21194 fixes the travel link issue.

I've seen some promising info about 21194 fixing some things. The last I've heard is Ford should be releasing it about the end of this month.
