You can eBay this stuff for about $1200 to $1400. Get an APIM and wiring from Jesse.
I think the old APIM could work out but I want built in Nav.

The Screen is from a 2024 Mustang GT. The Screen new from Ford is about $2500

Ebay Link
Did you send the other stuff back
Excellent you got it sorted out and working

As of Today (Monday 11-11-24) All my stuff seems to be working). I did have a weird glitch this weekend where some of the buttons would not show up or took a long time to show up like the schedule service buttons and the lock and unlock buttons those area, but seems all ok now. An unrelated (sort of) question I have is when you go in for service and they add it to the Service history area do they just generalize the service or do they put in all the details. Last time I went to dealer I got oil change and asked them about the phone charger and all they put in that sections was General maintenance, Brakes, Tires and General diagnostics or maybe it said Oil change? (funny as when just checking again it says try again later), but anyhow do they go into more detail for any of you. I'm just trying to figure out if I have a lazy dealer who just puts in generic details as I thought they would upload everything that was actually done.

How does this mount up? Do you need to make your own bracket?

Just an FYI that Vehicle Health is not functional on any Android device in the FordPass app if you did the latest update. See my notes when you go to this app in the Play Store. My tire pressure reading is fine in FordPass.

You will need to make a bracket.

I did lower the screen mount by .25" (Don't have picture of it)

See attached pictures.

No more issues in general or no more big issues? I take it your explorer didnt come with the 360 camera either?

Also, will the physical buttons still work including AC controls and rear? Not a huge fan of blocking the vents but everything else looks MUCH better.

Thanks for doing this!

Generally the dealer uses as few words or description as possible in the log of maintenance
But the RO number is available by any dealer when they pull service or repair history
Then they can see the blood and guts of what was done
It's humorous how most service showing up is generic. Even when a sunroof is replaced

No 360 on my car. Everything works right now. See the video on the first post. But I had Jesse-Infotainment program a new APIM unit.

The guys at Fordsyn4.com don't know much about this stuff.

I got the 15.5 in screen from the Fordsync4 people and it works but I'm having some issues with some features

- HVAC
Unless the factory HVAC controls are plugged in, I cannot control the HVAC system from the screen.

- Volume
No matter what volume I set with the knob, it lists it at 0, and if I use the steering wheel controls, it doesn't display the volume number at all.

- Front Camera
The APIM thinks I have a front camera which I don't, so whenever I get close to something to set off the front sensors, it displays a blue screen.

- Distance sensors
When I am in reverse or drive, if I set off the front or rear sensors, it displays a black box where it indicates how close I am to something.

When I load Forscan, I don't get the APIM to show up even with a fresh scan, and I cannot modify many of those features with the module programming.

Discount the battery from the car and let set for 10 min. That will let you reconnect to the APIM.

I'm not sure how to fix the other issues.

Have you talk with Michael Lee about remote into the car?

Pls get ready with 1.windows laptop with www.forscan.org downloaded, free license ready(register one by email and you will get 30 mins later normally)
2. www.teamviewer.com full client version downloaded
3.els27 connected and ignition ON
4.pls send teamviewer ID and password then we can get start.

Post some picture of the system installed.

Maybe Jesse-Infotainment can help you out.

I order an APIM (W/NAV) from him.

I guess if you have the cash lying around, don't mind the blocked vents and headaches getting it to work properly it's a good thing.

Can you show the back side mounting bracket and the front please. Looking to getting this 15.5. Also you going to need a apim from a f150

I’ll try the battery disconnect.

I’ve reached out to Jesse infotainment about these issues

Tell Michael or Vency Lee that you want to return the unit. They will offer a discount.
