Only if you remove the vehicle from your Ford Pass and want to add it back.

I have a 2025 ST and I have the AT&T hotspot. I pay like $20 a month for unlimited. Unlimited is a bit over kill I think but when everyone is in the car its nice to not have to worry since my kids and their tablets use a lot of data. You could probably get by with less than unlimited.

I have hotspot currently but im upgrading to sync 4 and was making sure it still existed

Nope no 360, reverse braking or in car wifi
after being able to have time to look through things I was able to get it to speak with the sync4 APIM.
Still having issues with SiriusXM, sometimes it works, most off the time it just says loading.
Navigation both native and through CarPlay gets lost, noticed the compass also doesn’t work accurately, (will say south when heading north, east instead of south). With that “intelligent” cruise control is intermittent but will work once or twice randomly.
can’t pull up rear-climate controls and before the swap I had the rear controls locked out to prevent the little from messing with them and now I can’t change it.
Visually, when changing temp or volume the circle pops up but doesn’t show any changes or current values.
The APIM seems to have listed any and all options that could be made in any vehicle which is so helpful…. it’s also pulling an error saying communication fault with the telematic unit to be expected.

What did you do to get it to speak to the apim
