Hello,

Have owned a 22 ST for a few months now and am somewhat new here. No mods or tune but I’m looking to install the thermal r&d exhaust (stock is too quiet) and I’m just wondering if there’s anything I should be wary of once installed?

If you watch the Thermal R&D video it will show you exactly what to do to install it, Nothing aside from that is needed. as far as after, well in my case after driving my car it seemed to my ears the exhaust got a little better sounding. but sound is subjective. I also made sure to retighten my clamp bolts after a few drive cycles just to make sure it was tight. most of the bolts were but 1 or 2 needed some additional turns. I run the 2.5" Thermal exhaust and I like that it comes alive when I get on it but cruising on the highway I don't notice it at all!

Nope, just the ever lasting problem of catching a serious symptom of heavy right foot to hear exhaust goodness :)

I’m selling my 3”, less than 300mi on it. Nothing wrong with it. Wife doesn’t like the sound

They’d increase the labor cost. Downpipes add like $400-$700 average to install.
Meant to say it's cheaper to install them altogether than the exhaust now and downpipes later. Late night text lol

Super easy install and really good quality. Sounds good for a v6
