parts arrived, DD had a 15% off sale - just need to wait to get an intercooler then I'll crack the front off :)

DD said with these mounts instead of the regular ones should reduce the overall width from 30" to 26" which should fit perfectly!!

Parts ordered:
Diode Dynamics Stage Series 12in SAE/DOT White Light Bar (Pair), SAE/DOT Driving ~$400
Heavy Duty Dual Output Light Bar Wiring Harness ~$60
Stage Series 12 Inch U Bracket Pair ~$45

with the sale I got everything for ~$415, I was originally thinking a $100 light bar, but it's a $60k SUV, may as well go with a decent setup (but not obscene like Baja Designs)

I was considering getting an all-white interior visor mount light bar, any reason not to get this 'super takedown' in white for extra light Raptor TIR Super TD LED Visor Lightbar - B-RTSTD10 | STL (speedtechlights.com) ? I don't care about the strobe stuff but I would think the all white 'super takedown' setting would be great for off road, back road, etc. without the hassle of external installation.

I would advise against this. Its been years since i've had experience with STL but they were junk when i bought them. Also, I believe you'll be extremely underwhelmed at the output of these lights on top of the reflection you'll get back off the glass. An external bar would most likely blow this thing out of the water.

sadly I haven't installed yet LOL

my wife rear-ended another vehicle which paused updates for a bit, the collision company wouldn't touch mods - so I had them redo the front bumper i'll have to take it all off to mount these, plus my bigger intercooler - so - on pause for now
