Nothing. Everyone seems to be stuck in limbo honest to Christ. I don’t think Ford even makes these things anymore. A few folks on this site or maybe the other site we’re looking into making them never heard anything back.

Mine is due in. 31 July
Last week I sat down with my parts guy at the dealer and found a weird parts issue
If you use ford accessories it shows a few available
If you search in ford parts..it conflicts and won't show you it for ST..
So it orders then was being kicked back
So he re orderd in ford accessories
2 of them , one for his explorer one for mine

No
I have been waiting since mid May
I am surprised they are not included on all explorers

Just found an email saying the part I ordered from Levittown on 12/13/2023 has shipped. I thought for sure that order died long ago. I guess they finally started stamping these things out at the factory.

I just checked and my order shows “COMPLETED”. No email notification, no tracking, nothing. Called in and the enthusiastic agent was able to send over an email with FedEx tracking.

Delivery expected for tomorrow. What an underwhelming and eye opening experience this has been.

Well, I just checked my order status, and it says cancelled! I called and the representative said, "When things are backordered, they cancel" What a joke. Absolutely no resolution or guidance. 1721855839138.png

I received mine this week, but with all the screws scattered on my porch. I have yet to take it out to see it’s condition but at this point whatever.

How is the install? Does it replace the flimsy shield that is on mine now?

Did you put the dynamat (silver part) on the rear of the Skid plate?

Did you put the dynamat (silver part) on the rear of the Skid plate?
yes two 3 inch strips to see if it will reduce the TING noise from driving and stuff bouncing off it
we have horribly ROCKY road surfaces the pea gravel in the asphalt the last few years here is beating the crap out of the bottom of our cars
It's actually made by canopus
It's very less costly than dynamat
So it's sacrificial
I was going to put it on the other side of the plate, but space is a premium and I wanted to make sure it didn't melt or have any unforseen issues
It may be un needed .only a few drives will tell
My hearing is shot at certain frequencies
Except those high pitched tings or rattles
So I try to mitigate as much as possible
I will say the explorer is a whole lot quieter than the edge , but my f150 is really quiet
Been playing with the anc and fake engine noise settings to take advantage of the tech..but anc and fake engine are tied together, but I have stumbled on a possible best of both works scenario
Will put it in forscan sheet after more testing

I just ordered using (mostly) points. My fabric sheild got ripped off a few months ago and I haven't wanted to spend the money to replace it, but $9.95 of actual money to replace it with a metal shield seemed like a fantastic option. We'll see if it ever shows up!

Price increase proves they are a popular deal
I don't understand why it's not a standard item. And they are not making 2025 timberline, so there has to be some 3xcess parts around
The timberline fird accessories off road lights that fit in grill are very good
May have to think a grill change
