Tire Balance Problems with Pirelli Scorpion's (275/45/21)

Has anyone had wheel balance issues with the Pirelli? I just turned 30k on my 2020 and a decent vibration started at about 50mph. Took to the dealership. The machine was recommending 3.75 oz in one spot and about 8 inches away another 4oz balancing weight. No potholes wheel is good.

There is some type a insulation inside the tire that causes that. Huge thread somewhere around here.

Could be a tire belt shifting/separating as well. Happened to me at the 34k mark.

The sound insulation crap is coming apart on the inside. Break down the tire and pull all of it out.

thanks guys! I'm taking my Raptor in to have this checked out - same situation, get the tires balanced and they never seem to stay that way - hopefully this is the issue!

Raptors don’t have the sound insulation in the tires.

If those are what came stock, I'd just get a new set of tires.

The tires that have the sound insulation will say "PNCS" on the side wall.

Raptors don’t have the sound insulation in the tires.

I replaced mine with Pirellis when the bfgS wore out, but different tire...

Two weeks ago I bought a new tire and drove smooth. Yesterday one of the tires that came with the vehicle stared to wobble. It’s the foam loosing adhesion. 31k miles. Only problem is the tire was 2 years old before it made it on my vehicle which puts it at 5 yrs.. I’ll switch over to Goodyear when I get a new set. For now the dealer removed the foam in the one tire and it balanced perfectly.

I've never been able to get them balanced for diving at higher speeds (75+mph), vibration starts. 3 balances less than 24k miles... Does that foam really just pull out, or is there more to it?

The way it was explained a section will break loose and flap around inside. It is glued in the tread area and part of the sidewall inside. They removed the entire foam piece in this tire today. It balanced fine after.

Same problem and tires this size are hard to find right now for some reason. They have to come off at 25K, what a waste. Highway driving is really bad and spent $200 for road force balance that lasted 1 month. 275/45R21/XL 110W Pirelli Scorpion Zero A/S PNCS
I live in a hot climate that may be causing the foam to move around inside the tire. In any case something is out of balance. At first around 65mph, road force balance corrected it for awhile but now starts around 50mph. I have no clue about these tires.

Looks like Goodyear Eagle F1 is the only option I am finding today.

I have 2 newer tires and 2 originals. Only 35k on the originals . The dealer scraped out the foam. The difference in road noise is negligible. Hopefully will get to use them until they have to be replaced.

Don’t do Eagle F1. Really really bad tire. No grip whatsoever.
