Nope.. they felt perfectly fine for daily driving.. didn't notice a difference in fuel economy either.
I brushed a few curbs and the tire definitely took the hit. If I was going any faster or a harder angle.. the rim would get hit but there is some sidewall protection. I'll try and find a dead on side view, its in my photos somewhere.
They are currently off for the winter..
