Clean that glass! I smoke (yes, including in the Explorer), and tar/nicotine love the inside of auto glass. This stuff works wonders:

I have them installed in my ST and really like them. I was afraid they might be slippery when wet BUT they are "Grabby" in all conditions but allow you to easily slide your foot from pedal to pedal...
