Hi all,

I found my perfect ST (red, no sunroof, premium tech, street pack), but it doesn't have roof rails and I really think it looks better with them. I searched this forum and found out that in order to install the rails, the entire interior headliner has to be removed and put back together once complete with the install. Would you trust the dealer to do this to a brand new ST? My main worry is that they break a clip, or do something when putting the headliner back in which would cause rattles and the such. Am I just being paranoid and stupid, or do you think I should try to find one with the rails from the factory (having a VERY hard time finding one with the config I want).

thanks!

I had an issue with my original headliner when I purchased mine. Dealer removed and replaced with new headliner in about 5 hrs. No rattles speaks. I wouldn’t worry.

I had the same dilemma. Inventory was low and I found the ST in my budget with no roof rails. Thinking about getting them put on. No sunroof either. received_450150726082098.jpeg

ordered no roof, no rails, who puts stuff up there risking damage to roof, sunroof extra weight in all the wrong places like butt implants on women

Couldn't agree with you more. Just as the Stree Pack gives a more aggressive look (which I don't have), so does the roof rack do the same (which I do have).
