I assume that it will still work with the stock intake as well as with the aFe?
I can’t answer that. I would assume so but I didn’t build them so I don’t know.

Yah story of a gearheads life. Always seems to rain after detailing the car.

Pods built and installed for the differential rear fill widebands. Hope to have the 4th amp installed tomorrow and power to everything so I can write them into the tune next week. View attachment 17361 View attachment 17362
Looks great like all your other work. I thought you were happy with the front stage though, what made you add rear fill speakers?

This isn’t rear fill like most people think. They just barely play and if you can hear the speakers it’s done wrong. These are in place to play a fake reflection to give the illusion of a larger room. It gives a sense of a wider and deeper stage. It’s a mind trick like all the time alignment it just does something different.

Gotcha, I figured it was something technical that I hardly understand :)

Love that you're pushing the boundaries of SQL

Everything fell right in place. He had to get creative to make it all fit but it’s perfect. I haven’t driven it yet but it’ll get a workout this weekend…road tripping from Houston to Big Bend tomorrow then running the border roads all weekend.

Sweet. Did they take a lot of the kinks out of the path?

He ran the piping where the car made him with this version. It wouldn’t fit under the airbox like the oem piping. I don’t expect anything with this other than adding something to look at under the hood. That was why I asked Brett to build these kits in the first place after we learned his other kit didn’t work with the aFe intake.

Wow! Took me quite a while to digest…or at least read through the 50 pages. I will definitely be perusing it again…and again. I just got a new to me 2020 ST (same color as yours) a couple weeks ago and I’ll be adding some of stuff you did. Already have done some stuff…thanks for the write up on everything. Oh, and I live in north Houston, too. IMG_2025.jpeg

I’m in Shreveport Louisiana and my gf lives in Austin. So I’m not too far from Houston.
