Back to the reason for this thread. I threw on the gloss black PPF b-pillar covers from The OCD Plug to hide the scratches they all get. Super easy install and invisible once installed. Give them a look if you’re tired of the scratches and don’t want the expense of ceramic coating.

There’s actually a little cut out in that area. Works perfectly....although I’ve never used mine and don’t even know the code. lol

I didn’t even know these existed until I was on UPR’s site grabbing a fitting I need. I’ve always hated the EXPLORER indentions in the doors and didn’t wanna put the vinyl overlays in there...I wanted something to fill them up flush and damn if they don’t have them. I ordered black to match the door trim.

Since the only CAI out there and I presume the coming K&N use the real estate UPR uses for their catch can I did a little relocation today. Had to move the ground wire, shorten 2 hoses and bend the mount a hair but otherwise no big deal. Now to look closer at the FenFab intake.

About to do the same but you plan on drilling into the intake for that hose (for FENFABrication) or cap it at the catch can and call it a day?

I’ll probably weld in my own bung somewhere. I’d get the intake in raw aluminum.

It definitely is. I drug my feet on whether or not I even wanted to bother with one but I think I will. Gonna try to spruce things up under the hood I suppose.

What mm bolt size did you use for the relocation on the can?

I’m not even sure. I just compared the one holding the ground wire on to the pile in my bolt bin until I found a match.

Mine had a factory ground wire in the hole I used to remount the can. I just moved it to one of the other holes that are already in the strut tower...it’s a self threading bolt.

I took a chance on some Chinese parts again. They’re stamped stainless steel and actually fit perfectly. They match the brushed finish already on the doors almost perfectly also. I did add some more 3M tape just to make sure they stay put but overall...I give them an A+ on fit and finish.

I have to say, I'm not one to buy "dress up" parts for my car, but those look fantastic and clean up what I think it the worst part of the door panels. I'm buying a set! Where did you get them?
