GOBI makes Utility Roof Racks with a low profile design including ladders, lighting, and room for the sunroof (picture attached). But they do not make one for our beloved ST.

Could anyone recommend a good company that makes a low profile Utility Roof Rack with a ladder? I may want to include some LED lighting in all directions.

Something for folks to keep in mind when shopping for roof racks, cargo boxes, etc is the very low recommended load capacity for vehicles equipped with a moonroof. I was shopping for a Thule roof cargo box a few weeks ago, but after finding out the capacity for a moonroof vehicle, the box alone was almost half the recommended limit.

75lbs is nothing.

I was considering a low profile hard top carrier because I have to stay under that ridiculous maximum load limit anyways.

Good to know.

I went from a 22 ST with Moonroof + roof rails to a 22 ST with no Moonroof + roof rails.

FORD's roof rails are a must for me as they sharpen up the ST's looks considerably, and it appears getting them without a Moonroof is the way to go.

If you are putting stuff on your roof on the regular, I'd agree. Something about having the front and back seat with a glass roof looks really sharp for the interior. It's one of the first things people notice when they get in the vehicle. Plus, when you crack it open, it has helped fresh air circulate the cabin without loud wind blowing all around.

I don't think I can buy a vehicle without a sunroof/moonroof ever again.

Well, we all have our own preferences. I had the moonroof and it was nice, but definitely not a requirement for me by any stretch of the imagination.

Nav/Roof Rails/Street Pack is all I wanted, and for $54k, that's what I got!

Everyone has an opinion, the power of choice!

Roof Rails do give it a great look!

The power of choosing good is quickly eroding away.:(

And yes, Roof Rails!
