I'm in the process of buying 25 ST. has anyone installed the weather tech window shades that slip into the window track, GM said they wont warranty the window motors if you install them, any problems with the 25 ST or should one buy the stick on over the door rails ??

Go with outside mounted window shades. I have used both in-channel and outside mounted Lund Ventvisers for years and I can say from a lot of experience that the in-channel types are problematic and cause window closing issues often. I had the issues mostly in hot weather when they would expand and bow a little and the window would hit them and cause the window to go back down. With the outside mounted ones you will have zero window closing issues. I don't purchase in-channel ones anymore. Here are outside mounted ones on my 25'.

I've tried both. Prefer nothing to be honest.

I have used in channel weather techs in at least 7 ford's over the years
Once they were set to push the felt
No other problems
