Hello and welcome to Explorer ST Forum, the premier community for Explorer ST owners from around the world. Please take a moment and post your introduction and let us know a little bit about yourselves.
Hey there, I just took delivery on an 2022 Explorer Platinum with, wait for it, 3K miles on it. I know, a unicorn! My question is about the tray in between the rear captains chairs. It seems bolted to the floor but I feel like it should have a hinge to bring it up to seat height. Maybe it was an after market addition? Any help? I'm new to the Explorer family but she drives like a dream...traded in my Lincoln MKT with 134K miles on it. I loved that car but it needed lots of work and I need 4WD for our winters.....

Took delivery of a 2025 Agate Black ST about three weeks ago. So far, have to say, I really like this vehicle!

Hello, I'm somewhat new to the forum. I've had a couple of ST's in the past and just bought my 3rd one (2025 ST). Really diggin it so far and it fits the part that I needed to go with my other vehicles. I had a Subaru Touring Turbo for my commute and I hated the damn thing. Now every vehicle I have is a treat to drive. So now we're introduced!

New member here. Do not currently own a Ford Explorer ST, however all things are pointing to one being my wife’s next new vehicle. Here for “research” purposes to learn about the platform. Thanks for having me!

Howdy y'all. Kind of new to the forum. I've been lurking in the shadows for a while doing my research before I commit to a new Explorer. This would be my second one, I had a 22 coming from a 15 Hellcat and felt sick about the trade since then.(Used to the supercharger and the sound when I press the gas). Traded the Explorer for a 20 Trackhawk and was extremely happy. Well the Hawk got totaled by a distracted teen, she was texting and speeding, rear-ended me at approx 90mph. Got a check then bought a 22 Charger Hellcat. Well, got tired of hoodcats and scatty patties trying to race me and the constant paranoia of the Charger getting stolen I then made the decision and a non regrettable one to purchase this truck. Pretty satisfied with it!

However, I do have two main complaints. one, the infrared sensor that tracks your eyes while BlueCruise or adaptive cruise control is on is racists. The truck will scream at me to keep my eyes on the road until I open my eyes wider and its even worse when I wear sunglasses.......Totally joking about that y'all...The truck is not racists but, I do struggle with the sensor while wearing sunglasses. Do any of y'all with a 25 experience the same issue? My second issue is at around 1300 miles my rear driver side night time driving light went out. The indicators, hazards, reverse and brake lights all work but not the running light. Bummer right? Well Big Blue said the lamp is on back order till sometime November. Dang, and I was enjoying the truck. So I hadn't been doing any night driving for almost a month and will keep the truck dead lined until the parts come in.

Anyhoo, Thermal 3" on order, UPR can already installed, Black ovals at the ready, CVF Intercooler in the very near future, probably not gonna lower it but, will do a strut bar and most def roof rail delete. Too bad no tune available yet and for quite sometime. Not going to track the truck so no Big Brakes. I would like for this to be my last vehicle purchase but I said that about the last 10+ cars I've owned so its unlikely. Shoot, depending what the 27s look like and how big of an improvement they'll have I might trade in..who knows..

So are there no downpipes available yet for the 25? Something about different turbos I dunno.

Cheers.

Welcome to the forum! Quite the collection of automobiles you've had. There are some downpipes for the '25, just not much and they are not cheap! Downpipes

Geezeleweeze! 1500 American Pesos! Guess that'll be near he bottom of my mod list Especially since I don't plan on tracking the truck. The note from the Thermals sound pretty good without the DPs and without the tune, getting DPs wont be all that necessary. Thanks for the link ill keep it for the day I feel like making the wife mad for unnecessary purchases lol!

I'm sure it won't be long before others will be out with them and they will come down in price. As you said, they are not all that necessary. Just pieces to the bigger picture. Intercooler is probably the most necessary upgrade. The rest is, well... just because.
