Hey all.
We had a 2013 Explorer and it was the best SUV we've ever had. Absolutely no issues! So had no choice but to get another and thank God for the ST. Love it.

Hi all,

I'm coming from a 2015 ExSport, 2017 tuned ExSport and now a 2020 ST. Of all, I most liked the looks of the 15, but the 2017 was the general all around favorite though. Now I'm leasing the 2020 ST with a build date of 8/19. Everything seems OK so far but from what I'm reading, I am a little nervous. I've noticed a couple of gltches in the Sync system, but a simple on/off corrected that.

One thing bothered right away was how rough the motor sounded. Then I realized that the tank was probably filled with 87 when i got it, so I ran it pretty hard to empty the tank and filled with 93 with chevron Techron added. That made a big difference. Next move was to use some Ford Pass points to change the oil to full synthetic. That did the trick. After a week, the motor quieted down to a level that sounded normal again. So far I'm liking the ST and hoping I don't get the issues others have had.

Now I'm thinking about getting a tune but will try to find one more for low and mid range city driving. I never max out the top end. Would love to hear any ideas about a good daily city tune. My last tune was from LMS and was good but it felt like my torque was missing until I really got on it. I like an instant torque feeling with extra quickness in the most useful ranges for daily driving.

Picked up the new ST today with the old 17 Platinum in the background. Loved the ‘17 but am absolutely in love with the ST on the drive home. Hope the wife lets me drive it a little. 4D4B6BE6-7841-4CB4-BA34-3662CC97BBA2.jpeg B0E760E2-0CFF-473E-BF7E-465A27A1248C.jpeg

Hello ST Crew,

I have a long history with with Ford. First car was a restored '66 289 Mustang convertible my Dad had restored with a partner. Fell in love with it and we re-restored that one and a 71 429 SCJ and sold at BJ. 1st car I bought was '97 Explorer Sport and again in '17. Sure like you guys, I've been saying all along there's a market to beef these things up. A great comprise if you have a wife and kids but still need to get after it once in awhile. I live right by Mulholland Highway in Agoura Hills, so would be great to take it to Malibu with other STs. Hope to see some of you 5/19 in Park City.

Hi all! Just bought a new 2020 ST a couple days ago. The last 2020 they had on the lot so they gave me a good deal. Blue.

I’ve had my 2020 ST for about 8 months ans just turned 15K on the odometer. I’ll be doing a roof rack delete in the coming weeks if anybody is interested in the process.

Hi all. I have had Ford Trucks for years, and have been towing my 2010 Grand Sport Vette to Florida from Wisconsin every winter behind our 2018 Ford F250 Lariat. We have recently sold the house in Wisconsin and moved to Florida full time. I no longer have a need for a tow vehicle, so we have just traded the truck for a new rapid red Escort ST with the premium tech package, Street Pack, bench second row seat and the roof rails. so far seems like a great ride with excellent performance. Only mild issue I have is with the engine noise. Other than turning up the stereo, does anyone have any suggestions for that?.
