I remembered something else.

In MB, I can send an address to the car through the phone app and it's there for when I get in later.

The Ford app doesn't do that.

I had some surgery yesterday and could not drive myself home from the hospital. I rode in the centre seat and discovered how truly awful this suspension is. No compliance, it rides like a horse was pulling it. Every road crack or divot is magnified through the car and I felt like a pea in a collander.

Yes, I was more sensitive than usual but I truly believe that this is an awful car. Its principle virtue is its powerful engine but its connected to a sh*tty transmission and spoiled by the cr*ppy FENG and useless electronics so not only are you battered by the suspension, your ears are hammered by the crappy sounds which drown out the stereo. I'll bet your passengers will attempt to kill you during a long drive!

I think you'll keep it about as long as it takes you to find something better to piss and moan about and with all the things there are to whine about with YOUR vehicle that could be a very long time.

Go to the FordPass app and click on My Journeys. I think that's what that does for you. I haven't used it but it is a GPS app that links to the onboard Nav unit.

I believe you have to have your phone USB connected for that to work. Sort of defeats the purpose. I agree that MB app works nicely for that and so does the GM NAV systems.

Well poop.
I finally got a gripe.
Last night late I had to go help my friend that just had surgery.
It was 9 pm, dark and raining.

My cell phone battery was near dead . I wanted to charge it off USB , it's to big for the wireless.
I keep a charge cable in all my cars.
But couldn't remember if it was in glove box or center console compartment.

AHA...there is not courtesy light in either one.
Now that pissed me off.
I had to use the phone flashlight to finally find it in the bottom of the center console.

Are you kidding me ...$56k car and no light in glove compartment.

Just me?

Jim
My phone is to big for the wireless charger. I don't know what Ford was thinking when they designed the wireless charger. I purchased a Ram Mount wireless charger that suctions to the windshield because I use JBV! app for my Valentine 1 G2 radar detector and like to see what the detector is picking up.

I have a 2021 ST and my complaints are:
The wireless charger is to small.
The 10.2" screen is too slow to respond.
The FordPass app will not tell you if your doors are locked or unlocked.
Cheap looking red paint on the brake calipers.
For a 50K+ vehicle it should have a heads up display.
Other than these few minor complaints I love my ST

Only big bother for me is the steering wheel radio controls....

The volume and the "next/previous" buttons should be swapped...

But maybe I am the only one that normally drives with just my left hand. I like to set the volume and then be able to skip around stations, songs, etc... with my left hand while driving... but thats not possible on this car.

Just an ergonomics quirk for me.

I have had my 2020 since October 2019. I have almost 39,000 miles on it.

I love the ride and performance of it. So much fun!

My driver visor rattles but only on bumpy roads. Recently I have noticed rattles on the right side at highway speeds, even on super smooth roads. Some on left as well but right is worse. Haven't been able to identify what it is yet. Going to have to ride in back seat and see if I can figure out what it is. Almost like it's associated with the wind.

Another thing is that the driver seat trim (the side panel with the controls) broke. Dealer is replacing under warranty even though my factory warranty had expired when I tool it in. Teck said the larger seat bolsters are to blame. Not sure about that but....

Half the people want audio controls on the left, and the other half want them on the right.
Personally, I can adapt either way.

like I said its just an ergonomics quirk. I drive with my left hand only probably 98% of the time and once I set a volume, im pretty happy with it, but I do like to skip around stations, tracks, etc... rarely listening to a whole song so its annoying for me... but if thats my only annoyance with this vehicle(compared to some on here) im doing pretty well LOL.

the volume up button is in the middle. I'd like the order down/mute/up so i can change it easily without looking.

I'm just not sure about the transmission and the rotating knob...it hunts for reverse when parking. I'm sorry but I like the feel of a lever that's connected to the transmission...too much "fly by wire"...

My biggest gripe about the ST is the backup camera. When it does work, it only uses a quarter of the screen for the rear view and even less for the 360* view. I was in a Nissan rental this week and the rear camera was fantastic. It was way clearer, images filled the screen and it worked everytime. Ford should address the image size on the screen. Even if the resolution is lower, I'd still be happier.

One more, I also wish the buttons on the steering wheel were reversed. If i remember correctly, they were on my 17 ExSport. I loved everything about that car.

The constant worry that it'll start having things go wrong and end up in a Buy Back.

I think a buy back would be good if you were having issues. I would be worried about being stuck with a lemon.

Hate to burst your bubble, but even for the "levers" that have been used on cars for at least the last 10 years, there was a 90%+ chance it was still electronic. Jalopnik did a whole article on this on how car manufacturers kept using levers even though they had quietly moved to electronic gear selection because people liked and preferred the sensation.

It's taken me all of a couple of months to get used to the dial and I just knew that I would hate it from the get go. That said, I do hate the tablet that just sits there and only lets me use part of it for the camera. It's big and it's ugly.
