I'm curious, why do you even bother to mount your phone? I keep mine in the front cubby or in the wireless charging space. Everything comes through bluetooth, so is there some reason for a specialized mount? What am I missing?
For me, I'm using wired carplay most of the time. It is just easier to use Apple maps and Soundy (SoundCloud app) from the phone and i need a way to easily use those while driving. Apple maps also complements the car screen with all the upcoming turns listed on the phone.

Those look nice. I asked UPR if those were paintable and they never answered. What do you think, could they be painted? I also have a Rapid Red and wanted to paint them to match the factory paint.

Possibly as they are hard plastic. You could ask OEM auto art since they do a lot of fine work on emblems.

Yeah, I bought their oval set, they look great. I was hoping to do it myself with some Touch Up Direct paint, just to save the mark up. I guess I can buy them, try one letter and take it off if it doesn't look like it's going to stick. I would guess I would need to sand them a little which means one letter is shot unless I can buff it back to shiny.

Did any of you who shut off auto engine stop notice an extreme loss in MPG?

Going to be a long night! Installing Whipple IC, NGK 95605 plugs, changing oil and will install UPR drain plug. Tune file should be back soon, fun times!

My wife is going to ask why the bumper is off of a new car I just bought 3 weeks ago. She was along for the ride 20yrs ago when I had my Eagle Talon AWD turbo and played with it, so it shouldn't be a surprise.......right?

It's been installed for a couple days now, but installed the JLT catch can the other day after it was delivered. I'm heading to Utah for the driving experience thing next week so it will be interesting to see how much it collects on that drive.

Getting rid of the 50/50 electric BOV and going full atmosphere thanks to Brett at FENFABrication

I have on on the way without the BOV flange. I don’t mind the oem set up but that smashed plastic pipe gives me the creeps. I can’t wait to cut it in half and measure it compared to Bretts pipe.

It’s insanely smashed. Adding the full bov and tapping into the vacuum lines was a little pain in the ass… the sound is different tho. More of whistle but nothing not like HKS.

Im gonna do some logs tonight and send to Adam. See if there is any changes in flow.

Yea…I wanna know what the actual cross section is vs a round pipe.

Just got back in town today and drove the explorer for the first time since the race port BOV was installed and noticed it’s giving off a nice turbo flutter also… Win win.

Wrapped up the Whipple IC install yesterday. Also changed the oil and installed UPR drain plug. Flashing tune this morning.
Might do the Thermal exhaust next just to get rid of the ridiculous rattle from the factory flex sections!

I have a ‘21 with less than 2K mileage when I drove from SoCal to Zion Utah. My UPR catch can is empty. I was on NORMAL driving mode the entire time. I was cruising at around 75MPH most of the time. So maybe your results with the catch can will be different.
