That’s not a bad idea! First couple days I kept hitting it with my foot when I got out
. Glad I used screws like you in addition to the tape.
I did scuff the carbon splitter about an inch wide and 1/2 inch up from bottom. Fortunately a little clear fixed it up. If I had the Moulding I don’t think I would have scuffed it at all.

This is enough to do the whole car…super flexible for the corners and cheap too.

Installed Thermal 2.5 downpipe back and AFE rear sway, Sway bar I could immediately tell a difference, The thermal though I was a little underwhelmed how quiet it is. It does sound like it should of come like that from the factory though. Possibly once I do the downpipes it will be a little louder. Not complaining by all means.

Yeah, we live up north, but I have never had OE, Eibach or H&R springs deteriorate like this. And it's mainly just the left rear spring. The right rear is acceptable, as are the fronts. Both are slathered in black fluid film otherwise, it probably would look worse than the pics let on. Steeda told me to spray some rust converter on there...
Fixed the tea kettle whistle wind noise in my new 2023 ST. Didn't even get to try taping up various window edges because I came across a post about a similar issue in another Facebook Forum. See technical service bulletin # 22-2021. Instead of the recommended fix of removing the pillar trim and add flock tape beneath the pillar trim (about as smart as the hose clamps on the flex pipes) I purchase JB Weld Black Silicone in a tube and injected the entire length of the joint between the pillar trim piece and the other inner trim piece. There were gaps between the two trims up to 1/16 inch. I wiped any excess silicone off with GM Fabric Cleaner (doesn't hurt painted surfaces). The result was a full length seal job the length of the front windshield pillar. I left it overnight to set up and took it out today and there was zero wind noise related to the wind whistle I had experienced before. May have to recheck if the weather turns excessively cold in case the silicone develops any cracks from contraction. Oops looks like one developed in the photo. Each time you wipe it down to clean the silicone off the surfaces press lightly because just wiping the silicone can flex the opening area between the two trims and cause a crack to form in the wet silicone.
