A few weeks ago, changing my oil and noticed oil all around the front of the pan and leaking from the FDAD, so I had the dealer fix those under warranty. They even used the nice, black painted PI axle on the driver's side. Still the rusty one on the passenger side.
It was also time for new rotors and pads. GT350 rotors aren't too bad at $350ish each, but I wanted to see if I could save a few $$$. I found some Wagner replacement rotors on sale for $75 each at RockAuto. Now these are 1-piece, but they only weigh 3lbs more than the OEM Ford ones. I'm sure I'll get crap for cheaping out here but hey, it's a consumable part and I'm ballin on a budget! I figure this falls in line with getting Chinese tires to save some money.
So for anyone doing the GT350 front brake swap as it's fairly budget-friendly, here's another way to make it even friendlier.
