what is this item found when changing oil

Doing second oil change at 6k miles after first one at 2,500 miles. When dropping felt diaper, this fell out. Didn't see where it came from and didn't have this last time. The front strut was replaced a few weeks ago. It is a little over about one inch by one inch. Anyone know what this is ???

There are a couple of worm clamps that have these covers over them. They tend to fall off easy and seem to only be a few covers.

So nothing to worry about - just toss it or what ?

You can probably find which one it popped off of. Save it for now. But it not a big deal.

Part of a hose clamp. Trash it.
