What power level does traction become an issue?

I’m on a ZFG E50 tune and really thinking about tossing in the wallet for the $12-15k turbos/fueling/ etc. I’m on stock rubber and unless it is is really cold or wet, I don’t really spin unless it is a hard launch but from a 20mph roll, it isn’t an issue.

When are people seeing traction become an issue. My last mustang didn’t get full traction until around 80 or so.

That will differ by case. Suspension, tires, tune, weight etc will all be factors.
I barely spin, if at all. That's with running 93 DMS tune, IC, DP's, CAI, Stage 5 CRP Turbos etc.
Might attest some of that to the fact that I have 300lbs of equipment on board and sticky tires.
It's my guess that you can always counter HP with anti spin tactics. It helps that these STs are intelligent 4 wheel drive.

Wheel hop is going to be the biggest problem you’re going to run into. Suspension mods will fix that. These cars AWD systems are really efficient in getting traction and putting power to the ground. I’d focus on suspension mods, and even a somewhat decent tire on stock wheels should suffice, something like an PS4 A/S should do perfectly fine.

Awesome can't wait to read about your build. That being said going all in like that wouldn't it be prudent to look into engine internals upgrades as well (forged pistons, connecting rods, etc)? Also don't forget supporting stuff especially the fenfab oil pan to ensure engine blood pressure stays safe. Mine just arrived can't wait to have it installed.

I’m not planning on going big. Just CRP stage 5 turbos. So, motor should be good. Will build the trans though.

The 3.0L is really stout in stock form, and as long as he’s not going really extreme or tracking it a lot, they’ll be perfectly fine. Trans would be a good idea to build though.
