Wheel Spacers and TPMS Sensors

This is likely just a coincidence, but has anyone gotten a TMPS fault when running wheel spacers?

I installed 1" wheel spacers on the rear wheels (Waiting on front brakes to come off back-order before doing fronts) over the weekend. Drove it 50~ miles and got a fault for the LR TPMS sensor. Not giving any reading. Sort of surprised to see a dead sensor after only 3 years.

Update for anyone else that experiences this. TPMS fault went away after I shut off and restarted the truck. Hasn't come back since. Chalking it up to a fluke.
